Making money on the web

It's true “most people don’t want to work” is a universal
truth. So, if you don’t want to work, why are you selling
yourself into slavery for relatively low pay? You might as well
get the most out of something that you dislike doing. I’ve never
seen any clerk who is happy where he/she is. They usually
complain about low salaries and too much work. If you’re getting
paid to work (something you don’t want to do) doesn’t it make
sense to aim for something higher?

There are plenty of opportunities for making money in the
internet. You can do this for something on the side, or, you can
make it your full time job. It just depends on how much time you
want to commit to earning money in a rather easy manner. As for
myself, why am I writing this article for relatively low pay?
Well the dollar has a pretty high value from where I am sitting.
If I worked in an office, I wouldn’t be earning as much I am
now.

The point is that you need to maximize your earning potential.
If you happen to be in a country like mine whose local currency
is struggling against the dollar, then doing this writing job
will earn you more than you normally would in day at the office.
As far as potential earnings in the internet is concerned, there
are plenty of avenues and opportunities to choose from.

The first opportunity with the most potential for earning big
bucks is by turning yourself into internet salespersons. Unlike
salespeople of the physical world, you don’t have to go around
the city commuting, sweating, huffing, puffing and talking your
throat sore. All you need to do is to choose a form of internet
marketing that you think you can be good at. Once you do make
your choice, exhaust all the possibilities until you get very
positive results. Nothing good comes out of something
half-baked.

A fast way to earn a commission is by affiliating yourself with
major vendor sites. You sign for their program and they will
give you instructions to set up an affiliate account. Basically,
you promote the vendor site and their products in your own
website or in articles that you write and submit to ezines. You
will need to place links into your website or ezine article that
will lead to the site or product you are promoting.

If you decide to go into affiliate marketing, you will also
need to learn how to compose search engine optimized (SEO)
articles. The web is teeming with instructions on SEO
composition. These articles will help you with search engine
results. They will contain keywords that the search engine will
identify and index according to its relevance to the searcher’s
query and your article.

Then, there are the make fast money programs which you have to
pay for before you can join. (`nuff said)

By the way, don’t be fooled by those paid to read email
advertisements. One does pay you to just read but it sends an
average of one email a day and gives out 2 cents. Other similar
programs require you to accept offers or deals from the sites
that they advertise before they give out cash.

Making good money in the internet can be easy. But if you
really want good money, I suggest you try the different
affiliate programs of major vendor sites in the internet.
Remember its good money so you will have to spend time to make
your program a success. Once you have it set-up, you can ask for
your retirement or separation pay.

Finding Niche Markets

Finding niche markets for info products can be an absolute killer if you don’t know where to look. Whilst publishing niche ebooks is a proven business that can make you a lot of money, finding niches to exploit can be both time consuming and disheartening if you struggle to find any good markets.

Thankfully there’s hope. In this article I’m going to show you a simple strategy you can use for finding as many niche markets to sell ebooks to as you could want.

http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

This is an amazing resource that won’t cost you a penny to sign up to.
Go to the above site and start typing in niche markets that interest you. If you had an interest in dogs you’d type in “dogs”. Then all you need to do is make a list of all of the sub niches within the general niche market of dogs. These are all potential niches for you to exploit.

www.amazon.com

The bookselling giants amazon.com are an amazing resource for finding niche markets you’d never have thought about entering. Go the web site and in the search bar select “books”. Then type in a niche you’d like to create a product around. For example type in “gardening”. Go through the results and start jotting down all of the niche markets that jump out at you.

When many people hear this technique they immediately think “wait a sec how can I compete with Amazon?”. You won’t be of course you’ll be catering for a different market. When people buy from Amazon they have to wait days for a book to arrive. As ebook publishers we can offer instant gratification as our customers get our info products straight away as a download.

Another great thing about downloadable info products is bizarrely they are seen to have a higher perceived value. You might be able to charge fifteen dollars for a book selling it via Amazon. However if you sell a downloadable info product you can charge up to fifty dollars. Crazy but true.

www.dummies.com

This is another fantastic research tool for the niche ebook publisher. You can find a ton of niche topics across all of the “…For Dummies” books. The Dummies company has made creating niche products an art form in its own right. Search through their titles in general niches that interest you and jot down potential ebook topics.

www.goarticles.com

Article directories are, in my eyes, the best way to find subjects to create ebooks around. The directory Go Articles is just one of many in which you can go to the site, type in a niche subject in the search bar and get literally thousands and thousands of ebook ideas.

The key here when visiting these sites is to just make a huge list of potential topics, and then when you’re done go to http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ and type in your topics. If there people searching for information on the subject (at least five thousand a month) you’ve just found an ebook topic that could turn into a very lucrative home based business.

I want to quickly dispell a myth about the internet. Don’t for one second think you can just throw up a site, sit back and become rich. Many would have you believe the internet is just one huge get rich quick scheme. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Done properly ebook publishing can change your financial situation dramatically.

We’re not aiming to become a millionaire here. We want to build a network of mini sites that each make about 1K a month. Being able to come up with an endless amount of niche product ideas is the key here, then all you need to do is create the product.

I know what you’re thinking. “All you need to do” is create a product. They’re hard to create right? Well no actually you don’t need to write a single sentence of your ebook. You can hire people to do so at elance.com. For around five hundred to seven hundred bucks freelance writers will create the entire book for you.

You are an internet marketer, not a writer. Have one product created, set up pay per click campaigns, write a press release and blast a few articles over the net on the topic of your ebook. Then have another one created, do the same, and just rinse and repeat.

Multiple streams of autopilot income is the secret of wealthy entrepreneurs from around the globe. Now thanks to ebooks and the internet, anyone can set up streams of income that sends money into their bank account even whilst they sleep.

It’s a maze avoiding scams

It’s a maze to avoid scams regarding internet and business investing, but this proven 3 step strategy will help you avoid the scams and look through the garbage. In this roller-coaster economy, its very pertinent to keep away from scams and spammers, and to avoid throwing away lifelong investments on sites out to get a quick buck from you.
Here is a little article I noticed from Bernard Chukwuma.

Things to Avoid in Internet Marketing Investments

I remember when I first got into the internet, it was all safe and fun, just using yahoo and checking the football sites made my day, now its all saturated with everyone trying to make a buck off you, and you have to make sure you're cautious not to fall for all. these traps.
You may want to invest money, in an internet based business, or try to see the work at home jobs, you should follow my 3 basic rules and guidelines to avoid frauds and scams.
1- AVOID PAID ADVERTISING LINKS - You know those links that are on the right side of the screen when you perform a search from a reliable search engine website, well, those are paid sites, why would someone pay and advertise, just to give you money? its a no-brainer, these are sites just out to get your money.
2- AVOID CHEAP AND TACKY LOOKING SITES - you see a site, and the y claim to give you tons of money if you invest, but you cant help to wonder, why doesn't this site invest enough money to have at least professional work done on it? you're right, its that simple, the sites done have money to give you, just some kid who used some basic tools to create a cheap looking site, out to get a buck. be warned, I have scars from all I have encountered, tacky sites are just a reminder that wealth comes from those who already have income, not some cheap access link.
3- ALWAYS INVEST BIG- This is the last and more important part to internet investing , make sure when you invest, you already have a taste of what you'll get, look for at least 7 testimonial from other users, from different countries and demographics, then make sure the investment is at the 100 dollar price range, this is a more safer bet that most scammers make you feel you should invest a a mall amount of money to make income, but more legitimate sites, do charge for their work, because of the credibility, they are not afraid to up-sell their products.
Thanks for reading my article, more to come, I hope this was helpful in a guide to internet investing. I also posted a link one of the few sites that I thought was interesting and gave me more ideas regarding internet investing and avoiding scams, check it out and do leave me your comments and opinions.

Send me a photograph

Hi!

As you all know by my profile, I used to be a photographer. And I have included a photograph of my view of Portsmouth Harbour across the Solent where I live. What I would love you all to do, is send me a photo of where you live. It could be a view of your house, your street, or town. And tell me a little about it. It doesn’t matter if it is only just a few words. And it doesn’t matter if the photo isn’t that good, it’s not a competition. And hey! It would be great if you were in it. So go on lets here from you…
